Postdoctoral Researchers

wade
Wade Rellergert, Ph.D.

Wade did his PhD. in the group of Dan McKinsey at Yale University. At UCLA he is leading both the molecular ion cooling and nuclear clock efforts.

Graduate Student Researchers

kuang Kuang Chen
Projects: Molecular Ion spectroscopy
kuangchen@ucla.edu
steven Steven Schowalter
Steven is working on the molecular ion cooling project where he and Kuang are currently performing spectoscopy to determine the internal energy structures of different molecular ions which we are attempting to cool with the MOTION trap system. He spends his spare time writing really long sentences without commas.

scott Scott Sullivan
Scott studies ion-neutral interactions using the MOTION trap system in an effort towards sympathetically cooling molecular ions. Scott also assists with the 229TH clock development.

Undergraduate Student Researcher

Prateek Puri
I am currently attempting to devise a method to incorporate Sagnac interferometry into laser locking and am also studying other topics in saturated absorption spectoscopy.
